SMILES (Mercer Island Loops)

SMILES rides start at Lid Park on Mercer Island, and includes riding the "SMILE" of Mercer Island - E Mercer Way and W Mercer Way going around the bottom of the island. This route is a very popular cycling route, with good reason: it has very few stops, rolling terrain, and typically has minimal car traffic for most of the route.

Sometimes the route will be doing loops of Mercer Island, and sometimes it'll venture south and do a "Double SMILE" that covers the southern half of the Lake Washington loop.
